Bishop Chatard, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis North Deanery high school, in a continued
effort to provide a safe and healthy environment for all students, faculty and staff during this
unprecedented pandemic, has acquired a mobile UV unit.

Manufactured by American Ultraviolet, and provided by Lumin-Air in Indianapolis, the mobile
UV unit uses ultraviolet germicidal light (UVC bulbs) to inactivate pathogens like SARS-CoV-2
(the virus that causes Covid-19) and influenza. It is able to clean a 700 square foot area in less
than 5 minutes and will be used during unoccupied hours to thoroughly disinfect classrooms,
restrooms, locker rooms and other high-traffic spaces in the school.

Similar units have been used in hospitals and healthcare settings for decades and will provide
an added level of disinfection in addition to the protocols already in place at the school.

Bishop Chatard High School is a Catholic co-educational preparatory high school located in the
Broad Ripple district of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Lumin-Air is committed to improving the air we breathe. Partner with us to increase
ventilation, improve filtration, or install ultraviolet germicidal irradiation to kill harmful
pathogens and viruses as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC)) to prevent the spread of harmful pathogens and viruses like Covid-19.
